How to sell back books to our college textbook buyback:
Each page of this site has an instant quote form which allows you to input the ISBN numbers located on the outside back cover of the textbooks you wish to sell. You can type them all at once, in any order, with spaces, without spaces, any way you wish. After all the ISBN numbers are in the window, click the, "Price Quotes" button, and price quotes will be instantly displayed.

Textbook Price Quote Chart explanation:
After entering the ISBN numbers of the textbooks you wish to sell back, a page appears with prices we offer for your books. This is called the, "Textbook Price Quote Chart." If you ship your books within 14 days of printing (and enclosing with your books) that Price Quote Chart, we guarantee those prices. That chart shows the complete book information to match the ISBN numbers you've entered. There are both, "new," and, "used," prices shown. You may enter the quantities of both, "new," and, "used," books to see an instantly updated total.

Our Book Buyback New and Used Grading Procedure:
We make every effort to grade as many books as, "new," as possible! To receive a, "new," grading, the college textbooks must be in pristine condition upon arrival at our facility. If books arrive in pristine condition, with no writing, bent corners, dented corners, shelf wear, or damage whatsoever, they are graded as, "new," and you will receive the, "new," price. All other textbooks receive the, "used," price. Please pack your new books carefully, to increase the likelihood of new grading!

Old textbooks can be graded, "New!"
The grading and pricing (new versus used) when you sell college textbooks has nothing to do with the copyright date, i.e. a book with a 1970 copyright date can be graded as, "new," if it arrives in pristine condition, but a book with a year 2001 copyright, however, might be graded as, "used," if the book is worn, written in, or scratched.

Accompanying materials, such as CD's and cassettes:
If the textbook description on the Textbook Price Quote Chart shows , "with CD," "w/CD," or, "must have CD enclosed," etc., you MUST enclose those indicated accompaniments with the textbook to receive payment. Note that disk enclosures (or accompaniment enclosures) can be, "opened," (unless otherwise indicated) and used, though. At our discretion, sometimes we buy textbooks without the required accompaniments, in which case you may receive partial payment. However, our pricing on those books is not guaranteed, so please do not send textbooks that are missing those required accompaniments (unless you explicitly agree to take the chance that you won't receive payment for those books). If you send those books to us anyway, and they indeed have no value, we cannot return those books to you once you've sent them. If you do not wish to, "take the chance," do not send those particular books.

Books with, "0.00," or, "books not found:"
We pay exactly what the price quote states. If the price returned is, "0.00," or, "Books Not Found," then, most likely, that book is out of date, or has no resale value, and we cannot buy those at this time.

Sending "no-value" textbooks:
Do not send them! Note: If you specifically are an instructor, or faculty member, and you have just received a textbook with a copyright date of 2009, and the book does NOT say, "annotated," there is the possibility that the book is too new to appear in our database. Do you want to, "take a chance," on those? You may, if you wish, send those to us, understanding there is a possibility that we cannot buy those from you. However, you agree that we cannot return those books to you if we cannot value them, as they will be discarded. If you do not wish to take that risk, please do not send those, "no-value," college textbooks.

Instructor's Editions:
Do not send, "Annotated," textbooks.

Shipping methods:
Pack the books tightly in a sturdy box, like a copier paper box, tape it well, and label the box with our prepaid shipping label. Shipping and insurance is prepaid, so you won't have to pay anything when you ship to us! You can take the shipment to any shipping center, or post office on campus to ship us your books. When we receive your books, your order will be processed quickly!

Packing materials: Do not use them!

Even though, "packing materials," seem like a great idea, we have found through experience that the best way for your textbooks to arrive in the same condition they were sent is to pack them flat, in a sturdy box, and then if there is any room at the top, simply cut the boxtop down and flatten it. "Packing materials," do NOT provide any security for the books; since books are quite heavy, packing materials merely slide around with the books inside the box. Then the books get worn, and bounce against the inside box edges, sometimes splitting open the box. Styrofoam falls apart, is messy, and provides no protection, and newspaper smudges the book pages with newsprint ink

No printer?
No problem. If you do not have a printer, you MUST do the following to receive payment:
 • Clearly hand-write the shipping address onto your box.
 • Hand-write on a piece of paper the full price quote chart you received when you submitted your textbook ISBN numbers for quotes (including the, Pricing Update #, fount on the top of the price-quote chart), and enclose that, in your box, with your books. Then, when we receive your parcel, we will process it exactly as if you had used a printer.

Packing slip:
Please enclose the Price Quote Chart along with your books. If you don't, "have the time," to include a packing slip, or forget to include the packing slip, we will most definitely issue payment, but it will be a non-negotiable spot quote, which may be more or less than your anticipated total, and there will be a considerable delay with your shipment, as we will have to manually process your books. If you choose to repeatedly send books without enclosing the printed price quote chart, or a handwritten price quote chart, you agree to accept whatever we choose to pay you!! Although every effort is made to pay you fairly, unless you enclose a packing slip with your books, you'll make us grow weary.

Insurance:
It's prepaid! But, you still have to take a moment to fill out the postal insurance tag at the post office. Filling out that tag provides you not only a tracking number, but recourse in case your parcel gets lost during shipping. (Obviously, if the Post Office loses your shipment, and we never get it, we aren't responsible!) Therefore, when you ship your parcel, fill out that postal insurance tag! The clerk will then give you an insurance tracking receipt which you keep, until you've received payment from our company

Sending large quantities of textbooks:
If you have more than 5 copies of the same textbook, please contact us first.

Turnaround time:
We have found that by using our prepaid shipping label, in conjunction with the United States Postal Service, we are using the most direct, reliable route from wherever you are located, to our warehouse. Any clerk at any shipping center will be happy to give you an estimate of the shipping time; upon arrival of your shipment, your books will be processed quickly.

Privacy and confidentiality:
We value your privacy and we pledge to NEVER share your information or give out your email address, name, or personal details to other marketers! Please bear in mind that we value your business, and it would be counter productive to us to give your name to any of our competitors. Rest assured that your privacy is a very high priority to us!
